When set up for automatic backups, QuickTran will automatically notify the Accountant if a backup is not performed. This can happen either because the computer was turned off, or someone disabled the backup program. This helps the Accountant provide better service to his customers, and helps ensure the safety of the business's data.

The Accountant will automatically be notified of the document through email and can make the necessary changes. If for some reason the Accountant doesn't get around to working on the file, reminder notices are mailed out.

Setting up QuickTran is easy. Here’s how you do it…

	Ask the client to create an Accountant’s Copy and store it on the local drive.
	This local drive can either be linked directly to the QuickTran server or the file can automatically be copied to the server.

	The Accountant will automatically be notified of the document through e mail and can make the necessary changes.

	The client can then merge the Accountant’s copy with his file and the changes are complete.
